We cordially invite you and your students to honour the official launching ceremony of the Inauguration Ceremony for the Cathay Inter-school Aviation Challenge Cup (CISACC) cum Launch of the HKYAA AeroQuiz. AeroQuiz is a web-based aviation quiz platform designed to inspire and engage youth in the world of aviation through an interactive learning environment and a friendly competition.

Attendees      : Maximum of 8 per School. (first come first served to the first 15 RSVP schools)

Dress code    : School Uniform

 

AeroQuiz is developed by the Hong Kong Youth Aviation Academy (HKYAA), a non-profit charitable organisation aimed at inspiring young people by exploring different areas of aviation. To foster aviation awareness in a fun and rewarding learning environment, AeroQuiz presents aviation-themed questions on a daily basis, challenging students to respond quickly and accurately to earn virtual coins.

 

Students collecting the most points over the season will be invited to form a school team and compete in a Grand Finale showdown - Cathay Inter-school Aviation Challenge Cup (CISACC)

 

The Cathay Inter-school Aviation Challenge Cup (CISACC) is a prestigious aviation-themed competition that brings top-performing secondary school teams for a series of knowledge-based challenges. Hosted by Cathay, CISACC aims to inspire and celebrate the next generation of aviation enthusiasts with some amazing prizes to be won. This exciting competition is exclusively open to the highest-ranking school teams from the AeroQuiz School Stream, making AeroQuiz the only qualifying platform for CISACC.

 

The quiz offers two participation streams: General Public and School. The School Stream will be open to all Form 2 to Form 5 secondary students and serves as the official pathway to CISACC. Running up to 31 August 2025, only the top-performing school teams will be invited to compete in CISACC which will be held on December 7 2025. Participating teams will have the opportunity to win exciting prizes, including:

 

• Sponsored International Aviation Trips

• Round-trip flight tickets

• Professional flight simulator experiences

• Opportunities to participate in the upcoming Cathay "I Can Fly" Programme

 

Schools that send representatives to the Launch Ceremony will receive Bonus Team Points towards their AeroQuiz scores, and attending students will enjoy priority registration for the competition.

 

We also ask for your kind assistance in encouraging students to take part in AeroQuiz and showcase their talent. Participation is simple— register, and start playing.
